Norwell Historical Society held the annual First Parish Comes Alive event. Actors portrayed a variety of historic individuals who are buried in the graveyard. Dr. Isaac Otis of Scituate lived in what became South Scituate and is now Norwell, Massachusetts. He was the first formally-educated physician to settle in the town.
