Voters at the Dec. 12 Special Town Meeting will decide whether to comply with the 2021 state MBTA Communities requirement for cities and towns with or adjacent to MBTA services to create a zoning district allowing multi-family housing as of right in an effort to address the state's growing housing crisis.
